A spokesperson confirmed the FDNY received a call at approximately 3:19 p.m. on Sunday, April 9.
Firefighters rushed to Prospect Park West and 9th Street to put out the fire. No major damage took place during the incident, first reported by Patch.

The FDNY left the scene at approximately 5:39 p.m. A spokesperson said the cause of the incident was still under investigation.
